On the linked pages are full-screen monthly calendars laid out from Saturday to Friday like TV listings guides. Week numbers, Bank Holidays, British Summer Time start and end dates, and New and Full Moons are also shown. The times shown for the new and full moons are local British time, taking account of British Summer Time. These latter were calculated with the aid of the program moons.bas that was published in the March 1985 edition of the American astronomical magazine Sky and Telescope, and which is available on their website. The US Naval Observatory's website also has masses of information on the moon and lunar cycles on their webpage.
To keep the display clean so that the pages may be printed, the links on the individual calendar pages to the previous and next months are invisible! However, the fairly large hot-spots either side of the month name at the top should be easily found, or else clicking on the owl logo will return you to the main calendar index. When printing, ensure you select Landscape mode rather than Portrait mode, and printing at 120% from Firefox fills an A4 page.
Calendars for current and future years are available from the main calendar index.
